Krasnoyarsk robotics team "ASPIRITY" (which included schoolchildren and university students) became the Absolute Champion at the Cyprus FIRST® Tech Challenge Championship!
During the FIRST® Tech Challenge competition season students work together with their mentors to design and build robots to compete in a dynamic and exciting challenge released every September.
Local qualifiers are held for teams to compete and qualify for regional qualifiers, and from that point, regional qualifiers are held for teams to qualify for the World Championship.
The Cyprus FIRST® Tech Challenge Championship hosted 25 teams from Russia, Cyprus and Kazakhstan which presented their technical developments in the field of robotics over two days.
The main prize of the championship for the winning team was the right to participate in the World Championship in Houston (USA), which will be held from April 16 to 19.
World Championship is a culminating, international event, an annual celebration of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
Team "ASPIRITY" is a multiple champion of Siberia and Russia as well as a participant and winner of different international championships.
