A tour of Krasnoyarsk was organized for foreign students

On August 5, Krasnoyarsk Tourist Information Center organized an excursion for foreign students of the Siberian Federal University summer school.

A group of students studying Russian at the SibFU went on a sightseeing tour of Krasnoyarsk. They visited the Platinum Arena, learned more about the Winter Universiade that was held in Krasnoyarsk in March, 2019 and about the history of Krasnoyarsk in general. Their route also ran along Mira Avenue, the guests visited the central squares of Krasnoyarsk: Peace Square, Revolution Square and Theater Square.

According to the students, Krasnoyarsk is striking in its nature, surrounding forests and, oddly enough, the weather.

It's amazing how the sun can burn and it can rain in one day, and people are not at all afraid to get wet. If it rains where I live, we stay at home, we’re even afraid to go out with an umbrella, and you walk outside as if nothing is wrong!

The tour was a part of the joint project of Krasnoyarsk Tourist Information Center and the International summer school of the Siberian Federal University. This year fifteen summer school students from Italy, France, Slovakia and Spain came to Krasnoyarsk to learn the subtleties of Russian language and culture guided by the teachers of the Russian language department of the Siberian Federal University​.
