— It was all festive and exciting, actually. I felt a great responsibility from playing the works of my friend and colleague. Amazing music, very interesting. It touches on the theme of the essence of man.

In addition, the exhibition "Reverse" will be open there until January 24 for all to visit. More than 20 paintings prepared from the museum's collections keep their secrets on the reverse sides, such as sketches, drawings and more. Previously, they have never been shown to visitors to the estate.

The ethnographic exhibition "Siberian Beauty", which was brought to Krasnoyarsk from the Shushenskoye Museum-Reserve, will remain open in the Boris Ryauzov Museum until February 2. Here you can get acquainted with objects of Russian folk life, headdresses and jewelry that were worn in the 19th century, take part in ethno-workshops and master classes.

The Krasnoyarsk Cinema House will traditionally show a retrospective – a different series of films related to the work of Vasily Surikov's descendants Andrei Konchalovsky and Nikita Mikhalkov.

Krasnoyarsk residents are also welcome to join the "Musical Journeys through Railway Stations". The first concert will be given by the Krasnoyarsk Brass Orchestra on January 15 at the Krasnoyarsk-Passazhirsky railway station. Other creative groups of the city will also perform at other stations.

The main highlight of this Festival will be the "Underground Tour".

— For the first time in history, every visitor to the V.I. Surikov Estate Museum will be allowed to go down into the basement of this ancient house. This is truly an opportunity to look into a secret place where no one has been permitted to enter before. We invite everyone to carefully study the programme and choose something to their liking, — emphasized Lyubov Sakharova, Head of the Main Department of Culture.

The main programme of the Festival includes more than 40 events. You can find out more about them on the city administration website.
