The regional branch of the Russian Geographical Society plans to open an open-air museum of nomadic culture in the Yermakovsky District, as well as to create a park-museum of the development of the North on Molokova Island in Krasnoyarsk.

Another large-scale project is the creation of the Siberian District Headquarters in Krasnoyarsk, which will unite ten subjects of the Siberian Federal District and become the outpost of the Russian Geographical Society in the east of the country. The building, recognized as a monument of regional significance, is planned to be fully restored in two years. This was reported by the Governor himself:

— The Krasnoyarsk branch of the Russian Geographical Society is consistently named among the strongest in the country. According to the results of 2023, it took first place in the rating of regional branches of the RGS. The Society not only carries out expeditionary work, but also engages in extensive educational activities, popularization of our heritage, and also develops new tourist routes. I believe that the initiatives of the RGS, which immensely attract interest in our nature and heritage, are very much needed today.
