26.05.2020Roev Ruchey shared photos of the little inhabitants of the flora and fauna park. Some animals have not had offspring for several years, but now the zoo is experiencing a real baby boom.
As of today, little babies have been born into the families of meerkats, capuchin monkeys, llamas, reindeer, and Egyptian geese. «In a few months, little penguins are to be born as well. Can’t wait for it to happen!» – the zoo personnel shared.
Recently, Roev Ruchey applied for membership in European Association of Zoos and Aquaria (EAZA).
Having received such high status, the Krasnoyarsk Park is to begin preparing a five-year development programme, which includes measures to improve the living conditions of animals, build new spacious enclosures, better the quality of customer service etc.
Until the cancellation of the self-isolation period, Roev Ruchey is closed to visitors; the life of its inhabitants can be monitored via the zoo’s social networks.
