Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Mikhail Kotyukov took part in the events of the Conference. The Governor noted that the Republic and our Region share a lot of cultural traits:

— Dear friends, we are connected by the history itself, a shared culture. There are posters for performances of Krasnoyarsk creative groups in Bishkek filling its concert halls 70 years ago found in the regional archives. Several generations of our citizens were raised on the works of the famous Soviet and Kyrgyz writer Chingiz Aitmatov, and today film screenings and exhibitions dedicated to his work are held in Krasnoyarsk. After the Great Patriotic War, regional farmers sent wagons with potato seeds to the young republic as support for agricultural development. Which, of course, is already our history, but it was then that the foundations were laid for the further strengthening of our friendly relations.

The heads of the delegations also made speeches: the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexey Overchuk from the Russian side, and the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Head of the Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov from the Kyrgyz side.
