On October 1, the State Universal Scientific Library of the Krasnoyarsk Region hosted an event celebrating the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China with the assistance of the Regional Government, the Regional Ministry of Culture, the Krasnoyarsk City Administration and the Consulate General of China in Yekaterinburg.

A dedicated thematic photo exhibition was organised to accompany the event. The exhibition consisted of five vectors illustrating the country's development over the past three-quarters of a century: infrastructure, politics, economy, nature and culture of China.

The opening was accompanied by the traditional Chinese music performances and warm welcoming words from the heads of organizations involved in promoting and strengthening partnerships between Krasnoyarsk and cities of the People's Republic of China and the official address from the Acting Consul General of China in Yekaterinburg Wang Tong.
