The regional youth volunteer forum "Dobroforum" ("Compassion" Forum) will be held on December 5 at the site of the art residence "Kamenka". The event will be a companion to the XX Krasnoyarsk City Forum.

"Dobroforum" will unite local volunteers, heads of non-profit organizations and volunteer communities to exchange experiences and contacts. The event will feature various locations related to volunteering and social assistance.

— "Dobroforum" is a unique event for volunteers and volunteer organisations. This year the event will be even larger in scale, because volunteers from all over the Krasnoyarsk Region will take part in it. Our slogan this year is "Territory of Care", because volunteering is always about kindness and caring for others: each other, nature, or animals, — says Natalia Khromykh, director of the volunteer centre "Dobroe Delo".

The regional Forum will begin with a ceremonial awarding of the best volunteers of the year in 7 nominations: "Volunteer of the Year", "Best Event Volunteer", "Team Leader", "Breakthrough of the Year" (for newcomers), "Best Silver Volunteer" (for volunteers over 55), "Best Volunteer Headquarters", "Best Volunteer in Social Projects".

Throughout the Forum, interactive locations will be open, where participants will be able to learn about various areas of volunteering. In addition, public organisations will present their activities in the exhibition space, where each participant will be able to become a volunteer if they so wish.

The exhibition space will feature a "Wish Tree", where the Forum visitors will be able to fulfill the New Year's dreams and wishes of people from orphanages and nursing homes, as well as help pets from animal shelters.

In the second part of the Dobroforum programme, participants will visit 12 educational lectures on developing the personal qualities to be a proper volunteer. The programme also includes lectures "I have the right!" on the regulations for volunteer activities and "Promoting a community in VK" on the main tools for working in the social network VKontakte.

The organizer of the forum is the youth volunteer centre "Dobroe Delo", which has been providing assistance in various areas of volunteering for over 20 years, and since 2023 has joined the federal social franchise "Dobro.Centre".
